How to record click points with F7
- Open the program or window where the automated click should occur.
- Move the mouse pointer to the exact target position.
- Press F7. Free Auto Clicker adds the current X and Y coordinates to the list.
- Move to another target and press F7 again if the task needs multiple click points.
- Review the ordered X-Y List before starting.

F6 versus F8: which key should you press?
Press F6 when you want to toggle the configured task between running and stopped. Press F8 when you want the current run to stop. If you are testing a new sequence, keep your hand near F8 so you can end the task if a window moves or an unexpected dialog appears.
When to delete the selected point with Delete
Press Delete to remove the current coordinates before recording a different sequence. If you may need the current list later, save it as an FAC file first. You can then load the saved file and reuse the same ordered click points.
Troubleshooting hotkeys
A hotkey does not respond
Click the Free Auto Clicker window once, then try the key again. Also check whether another application or system utility is using the same key. If the target program runs with elevated permissions, Windows may require Free Auto Clicker to run with appropriate administrator approval.
The recorded point is incorrect
Move the target window into its final position, press Delete to delete the selected point, and record each coordinate again with F7. Use a longer interval when the target needs more time to respond; see the click interval and stop-condition guide.
